I had brunch with this girl I’ve been seeing, then I went to the BMW dealer and did some un necessary car shopping. They must have known it was unnecessary as no one came to talk to me. Then I went to Publix and then to Total Wine. Cooked dinner and am now chilling drinking some casual 11.5%er’s. All in all, a pretty good day.

Went to the FP meetup and saw the POStal jeep, did some burnouts in the Vette on the dream cruise, went karting. Now I'm waiting for my friend to grab Catan's extension set then we'll go eat Indian food and play Catan till the wee hours probably. Been good today.

I’m just sitting here trying to help my sister find a car that isn’t falling apart like her 11-year-old Pontiac G6 convertible. I’m trying to steer her toward the Regal TourX but I think she’s sold on an Outback or maybe a CX-5. Her reluctance to look at the TourX is a little odd because she’s owned nothing but GM cars and they’ve treated her mostly well (which she concedes).
I can’t wait until I’m off my meds and can have beer again. Fortunately it should coincide with the first game of football season, and also the Rockies game that my company is paying for us to go to next month.

One of the Mrs.’s friends drove up from Chicago, we took her and the toddler to a petting zoo west of Milwaukee. (The child loved it and wasn’t afraid of anything.) Picnic lunch, home, work on the lawn tractor that needs help or it won’t live through snow blowing this winter, shower, Mexican for dinner. Time to do some CAD work for next week.
Hoping for good boating weather tomorrow, a few hours in the sun and water will be welcome. Winter, as they say, is coming.
So far I’m very happy with the weekend!

Still recovering from a godawful hangover from Friday night. You would think that by my mid 30s, I would have learned not to drink on an empty stomach while dehydrated , but, nope.

Yeah, there’s no way people would attand games when it’s 110+ out. I used to go to Cards games with my dad and grandpa at Sun Devil Stadium. Aluminum bleachers in 100+ temps is a lot of fun.

Just wrote up from a nap, number 6 of the day, I think. I tried going without sleeping pills last night which meant that I was awake until the sun started to rise.
I know I got up a few times during the day; leftovers from last night’s dinner were gone and I did get the mail and read most of the copy of Car & Driver that arrived today.
The iPad was running whilst I was n apping; some people watch a little TV with the ‘sleep’ function activated, but I run YouTube on Autoplay. The interesting thing about this is that the contents of the videos that are running in the background get incorporated into my dreams. They're very vivid, with lots of stunning visuals. They certainly beat the blurry view of the ceiling...
